VHYBRID 260
Grinding and erosion in a single machine. The VHybrid 260 achieves a surface finish of up to Ra 0.05 µm (micrometers / arithmetic mean roughness) when eroding PCD tools. It is also capable of producing even the smallest micro-tools with diameters starting from 0.2 millimeters and below. High-precision machining is ensured by the integrated “Laser Check” measurement system, which achieves the required tolerances of ± 2 µm in fully automated cylindrical machining using a closed-loop process. The best machine in its class.

With its laser technology, VOLLMER becomes a full-range supplier for tool machining and completes its portfolio of grinding and erosion machines. In the VLaser 370, VOLLMER has incorporated its expertise from all areas. An innovative kinematic system ensures fast and highly precise machining of ultra-hard cutting materials by keeping the tool consistently at the center of the focal point based on the C-axis.
