The VGrind 360S – the new standard for the complete machining of solid carbide tools of up to 200 mm. Ideal for applications in the areas of automotive manufacturing, toolmaking, medical technology, precision engineering, aeronautical engineering and many more.
Thanks to an optional dressing unit for the grinding wheel, tools with the ultra-hard cutting material PcBN (polycrystalline cubic boron nitride) can now also be ground in two machining steps - first roughing and then high-precision finishing. PcBN machining is possible with the VGrind 360S because the machine is extremely rigid and the X, Y and Z axes are driven by linear motors, which enables oscillating tool machining.
Grinding and eroding in one machine. Thanks to a new "booster" solution, the VHybrid 260 achieves a surface finish of 0.05 µm/Ra (micrometre/average roughness value) when eroding PCD tools. It can also be used to produce the smallest microtools with diameters of 0.5 millimetres or less. High-precision machining is made possible by the integrated "Laser Check" measuring system, which achieves required tolerances of ± 2 µm during fully automatic closed-loop round machining. The best machine in its class.
The VHybrid 260 is the only hybrid machine on the market that meets the high requirements for the production of PCD micro tools. Thanks to the innovative Vpulse EDM generator, the smallest microtools with diameters of 0.45 millimetres and below can be produced with the highest precision, performance and surface finish.
With laser technology, VOLLMER becomes a fullliner for tool machining and completes its range of grinding and eroding machines. With the VLaser 370, VOLLMER has brought its experience from all areas to bear. Thanks to patented kinematics, tool manufacturers can machine ultra-hard materials directly at the pivot point and produce effectively and with high precision thanks to fewer equalising movements.
Five CNC axes. Excellent kinematics. Tooth face and tooth top machining in one setup. An operating concept that's literally cutting edge. Even in its basic form, the CHX with double grinding wheel is sure to win you over completely. It can be flexibly adapted to your requirements thanks to an extensive range of options, such as automation for unmanned operation.
The CS 860 and CSF 860 have only one goal: To make sharpening your carbide-tipped circular saw blades as easy as possible, offering you maximum flexibility for optimised processes so that you achieve outstanding grinding results. Fully automated. Powerful. Outstanding quality. In an incomparably wide range of applications.
Make your processes more flexible and more efficient. Utilise important information faster and make it available more quickly. Identify faults in advance and optimise processes. Boost your company’s growth by integrating and making use of smart technologies. In the future, V@dison will offer you specific tools and solutions in the four key areas of the digital Transformation.
"With V@dison, we have opted for a digital strategy that we want to drive forward together with our customers and partners," says Dr Stefan Brand, CEO of the VOLLMER Group. "This is about meaningful and efficient networking of our machines via different IoT platforms in order to improve manufacturing processes and to give new momentum within tool development."
VOLLMER regularly designs new WEB-SEMINARS for you, which digitally convey knowledge about sharpening and introduce you to the world of VOLLMER machines and services. The online seminars cover topics such as tool grinding, eroding diamond tools or the digital maintenance of machines. Within 45 minutes, there are well-founded insights into theory and practice and you can ask your own questions via a chat.
Or take advantage of our latest digital innovation: the DIGITAL 360-DEGREE TOUR gives interested parties and customers web-based access to the virtual showroom. The animated 360-degree panorama features all the machines that are also on display in the TDZ in Biberach: Grinding and eroding machines for rotary tools made of carbide or tipped with PCD (polycrystalline diamond), as well as carbide-tipped circular saws
But most of all we are looking forward to the personal exchange with you. Stop by and visit us at the GrindingHub.
LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube are currently the four pillars on which VOLLMER has based its social media strategy. The combination of text, sound and images enables us to present machines, services and companies in a well-founded and target group-oriented manner. In particular, the technology, use and benefits of our sharpening machines can be conveyed digitally in a vivid way using words and moving images. VOLLMER's goal is also to explain well-founded content and general expertise on sharpening technologies.
Network with us. We will keep you up to date on social media on a regular basis.
