GrindingHub 2024 now bigger and more international.
Four months before the event opens, it is already clear that the next GrindingHub will be bigger and more international. 375 companies from 28 countries have already secured a place at the trade fair for grinding technology from 14 to 17 May 2024 in Stuttgart.
VGrind 360S
The VGrind 360S – the new standard for the complete machining of solid carbide tools of up to 200 mm. Ideal for applications in the areas of automotive manufacturing, toolmaking, medical technology, precision engineering, aeronautical engineering and many more.
NEW: PCBN-processing
Thanks to an optional dressing unit for the grinding wheel, tools with the ultra-hard cutting material PcBN (polycrystalline cubic boron nitride) can now also be ground in two machining steps - first roughing and then high-precision finishing. PcBN machining is possible with the VGrind 360S because the machine is extremely rigid and the X, Y and Z axes are driven by linear motors, which enables oscillating tool machining.
VHYBRID 260
Grinding and eroding in one machine. Thanks to a new "booster" solution, the VHybrid 260 achieves a surface finish of 0.05 µm/Ra (micrometre/average roughness value) when eroding PCD tools. It can also be used to produce the smallest microtools with diameters of 0.5 millimetres or less. High-precision machining is made possible by the integrated "Laser Check" measuring system, which achieves required tolerances of ± 2 µm during fully automatic closed-loop round machining. The best machine in its class.
ERODING IN THE LIMIT RANGE // WITH VHYBRID 260
The VHybrid 260 is the only hybrid machine on the market that meets the high requirements for the production of PCD micro tools. Thanks to the innovative Vpulse EDM generator, the smallest microtools with diameters of 0.45 millimetres and below can be produced with the highest precision, performance and surface finish.
VLASER 370
With laser technology, VOLLMER becomes a fullliner for tool machining and completes its range of grinding and eroding machines. With the VLaser 370, VOLLMER has brought its experience from all areas to bear. Thanks to patented kinematics, tool manufacturers can machine ultra-hard materials directly at the pivot point and produce effectively and with high precision thanks to fewer equalising movements.
CHX 840
Five CNC axes. Excellent kinematics. Tooth face and tooth top machining in one setup. An operating concept that's literally cutting edge. Even in its basic form, the CHX with double grinding wheel is sure to win you over completely. It can be flexibly adapted to your requirements thanks to an extensive range of options, such as automation for unmanned operation.
