New management duo at VOLLMER: Jürgen Hauger appointed to management team 2020-11-04Vers l'aperçu
Jürgen Hauger strengthens the management board at the Biberach grinding machine specialist VOLLMER since the beginning of November. Together with long term managing director Dr. Stefan Brand, the management team will be in charge of the traditional company’s fate. Hauger has already been working for VOLLMER for 25 years and will in future be responsible for sales, marketing and services on the management board. Brand remains responsible for technology, production, logistics and administration.
“The increasing complexity of management tasks and the consistent pursuit of our successful strategy require a broader management team,” explain Brand and Hauger. “By sharing the management responsibility on two shoulders, we seek to strengthen and expand our market position.”
VOLLMER has made the clear decision to nominate a managing director from its own ranks, as Mr Hauger brings both executive and sales experience as well as a clear value orientation, significant to a company with a tradition of family ownership. The mechanical engineer has been working for VOLLMER for 25 years and is head of sales and marketing of the global VOLLMER Group since 2008 in the role of authorised signatory. Hauger possesses ample international experience: Amongst other positions, Hauger has successfully worked as managing director of the Italian and Brazilian subsidiaries.
Brand and Hauger have worked together closely over many years and will continue to pursue the VOLLMER goals. The previous processes and individual strengths are mirrored in the new split of responsibilities. Brand will focus on technology and production whilst Hauger will concentrate on sales and service. The expansion of the management team is a step towards the sustainable continuation of the success story VOLLMER, based on both innovation and customer orientation.
