Practical semester: Project: Programming process optimisation for grinding operations

Department: Development

Duration: To be agreed (around six months)

Time frame: Winter semester 2018/2019.

This exciting task is waiting for you:

In service mode, tools (saw blades) are loaded into grinding machines chaotically. Grinding paths need to be programmed for machining the tooth tops of cutting edges. These paths should be automatically covered by the sensors of a structure-borne sound system and handled in a way that is optimised for the process. (Automatic detection of the grinding path length). For this to be possible, a process to be implemented in a program in C, C++ high-level language needs to be generated.

Let's see if you're the perfect fit for us!

  • You are studying Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology or a similar subject
  • You have knowledge of C, C++ programming and an analytical, systematic way of approaching work independently
  • You are a good team player who is committed, willing to learn and happy to work hard

Are you ready to embark upon a career with the "V" factor?

Are you ready to show us what you've got and get started on your future career? We look forward to receiving your application!
