At the GrindTec 2012 Trade Fair in Augsburg, Vollmer will show its guests three new sharpening machines. They can be used to accurately sharpen carbide-tipped bandsaw blades as well as circular saw blades at flanks, chip and clearance surfaces for metal machining. 13.12.2011 Vollmer offers training on the proper handling of TCT saws
Vollmer is marking the new year with a technological training course on tungsten carbide-tipped (TCT) saws. The one-week course is intended for saw manufacturers and sharpening shops and provides basic knowledge about the manufacturing and maintenance of carbide-tipped saws.
21.11.2011 Sharpening band saws effortlessly
Biberach/Riß, 21 November 2011 – Vollmer has further expanded its machine portfolio for sharpening of band saw blades especially for saw milling customers. With the CAL 100, even right-hand cutting saw blades can now be machined on the cutting face or clearance surfaces. A robust central block in the machine ensures the highest quality sharpening and provides the necessary stability.
